The CCSO Reserve Unit is made up of fully commissioned law enforcement officers who volunteer their time in support of the Clark County Sheriff's Office.  These are everyday citizens, professionals and students serving their community in an exciting and meaningful way.

Our members can be found any time, day or night, performing routine patrol, responding to emergency calls for service, protecting crime scenes, serving the public in large community events, and many other functions.

Each member has completed an extensive state certified law enforcement academy; learning, practicing and passing tests of physical fitness, judgment, state and federal criminal law and proficiency in the many skills of law enforcement and public safety.  Continual training and real world experience keeps us ready to serve.

We adhere to and believe in the value of volunteerism.

"to serve mankind; to safeguard lives and property; to protect all persons against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the Constitutional rights of all people to liberty, equality, and justice"
